
Linas Černiauskas, PhD Candidate
Linas has over 4 years of experience working in clinical diagnostic laboratories both in the public and private sectors. In addition to his clinical work, Linas has over 3 years of experience working as a research assistant and lecturer at Vilnius University. He is a member of three national and international medical societies. Combining his clinical and academic knowledge, Linas is deeply committed to sharing scientifically and medically grounded information on human diseases, encompassing diagnostics and preventive approaches with the public.

Linas’ professional focus is on biomarkers and laboratory diagnosis of various conditions and diseases, with a special emphasis on cardiovascular, metabolic, and coagulation disorders. He also has a firm knowledge of the principles of medical research, medical ethics, biomedical statistics, biochemistry, and pathophysiology of human disease.

Linas has co-authored more than five scientific papers published in local and international peer-reviewed journals. He also actively participates in and contributes to local and international scientific conferences, with more than nine conference theses published and four invited presentations. Linas has completed three internships in national and foreign clinical and scientific laboratories to deepen his medical and scientific knowledge. He is also a co-investigator in an ongoing clinical trial. He mentors at Vilnius University and government-led incentives to help develop the research skills of medical students.
